Meet Your Instructor!
Photographer / Mother / Wife / Artist
I graduated from the University of Southern Indiana with a BA in Art. Since my childhood spent drawing on my walls (I quit getting in trouble when my parents could no longer tell what was “new art”), I’ve been in a constant cycle of taking ideas and moments and working to offer them up in the most visually pleasing way possible. I started shooting in college but made it my livelihood in 2009 when my sister, Mary, and I took a leap of faith and started Joma.
When I’m not taking pictures, I can usually be found playing volleyball, camping, traveling, playing pool, spending time with my kids, and generally just enjoying life. I’ve been married for nine wonderful years to my best friend/boyfriend/partner-in-crime, Michael (who, I’m excited to say, works here full time and was technically the first photographer in the family), and we have two children. Leo, our son, is a 5-year old version of Michael with a passion for soccer and all things superhero. Lilly is our spunky, feisty, beautiful, 3-year old princessninja who keeps us constantly on our toes. Ask us what a princessninja is sometime during your session…
